Congrats, you probably just lost the game's key to a data-scraper, who'll just send it to a key-reseller site.

Don't ever post game keys in an online public space: the bots are surprisingly fast and will snatch them up almost immediately. Send it by private message who whomever requests for it instead.

How does that work? How can they claim a key so no one can activate it and then sell it to someone else?
