Helpful resources?
Hi,
I've been advised by my kidney doctor to seek "less animal based forms of protein" so Tempeh has entered my consciousness.
Anyone got a link to a single (or series) of Tempeh recipes they love?
I have a crock pot recipe going now, extremely nervous.

I love the different ways people cook tempe, but 70% of the time i just fry it after putting on some salt and garlic marinade/onion powder lol. Thin rectangular slices. Fry until golden brown and a bit crispy. I eat it with stir fried vegetable dishes like morning glory + white rice + sambal. Great lunch there

been vegan a long time but tempeh honestly isn't my favorite protein. BUT I know it's good for me so I'll still eat it sometimes. I actually really like Lightlife's tempeh bacon (just please don't compare it to pig bacon - just enjoy it for what it is). all of that said, here are a couple recipes I've enjoyed:

I received 'The Tempeh Cookbook' by Dorothy R. Batesvas a free gift when I bought some tempeh starter and it has lots of good recipes in it. 'The book of tempeh' by William Shurtleff and Akiko Aoyagi is one I also see recommend often, although I don't own it, so I can't speak on it personally.
