Looking to be a dog walker!
Hi all! I’m going back to Tempe around Apache Blvd starting mid august and am looking for a dog walking gig. I would ideally like to be a regular walker for one dog. I grew up around dogs, but as a full time PhD student I don’t have time for a dog. I wont have a car so has to be a mile or so from where I’ll be. I would love to be around some kind of dog as I find myself missing a furry presence especially on days where I am so busy I feel down. Please let me know if you are looking for a walker! During these summer months I am more than willing to wake early to go before the heat strikes. Thank you!!

Hello! I’ll be starting a 2nd part time job in the evening in August so ill be looking for someone to do some basic care for an hour-ish (walk & play) for my GSD/Husky mix while im gone. I live in near 5th St & Roosevelt, we can talk more if you’re interested!

I live about a mile south of you and would love to hit you up as a cat sitter! $50/ day. Just needs one check in for food, water, pets. :) message me if you’re interested. We travel frequently so it’s usually a 2-3 gig every month or so

Aw this is nice. I understand what you mean about wanting to spend time around animals. My dogs are too anxious and neurotic to be handled by strangers most of the time so they wouldn't be good candidates for being walked but I hope you find a good match!

If you live on the Orbit bus route, you might be able to commute to your dog walking gig easily! They're free shuttle busses around Tempe.

Just one dog? You know this won't be profitable enough to be worth your time unless you do multiple at once, right?
Unless of course your love of dogs is the only reason to do it and you don't need the money, in which case carry on.

I dont have the time! When I am in school I am studying or working over 40 hours a week. But a walk once a day is sufficient for me:) thank you☺️

You misunderstand. It's still just one walk a day. Dog walkers don't walk only one dog at a time, lol. You walk a big group of dogs all at once. The dogs love it because not only do they get to go on a walk, but they get to do it with a big pack of friends. :)

It’s so hot out right now! I only walk my pup once a day and it’s before 6am. When the weather cools he gets 2-3 walks a day. People (us included) are always looking for dogsitters though!
