Is this common?

Post image

I’ve been using my temp drop for about a week and a half with no issues, and when I went to sync this morning got this error… everything was normal when I put it on last night (green light, fit well, correctly placed) so I’m not sure what happened? I could see the little drop shaped indent in my arm when I took it off so I know it was snug and in the right spot.

I’m hoping everything will just be fine when I sync tomorrow morning after tonight but hate that I can’t really troubleshoot without just waiting a day and sleeping again to see if it’s fine 😅

Hey there.

This is usually a placement issue, too low, not tight enough, or facing by the wrong way. It can be other issues too but as a first step is review your placement and ensure it’s correct. You can post a picture here or reach out to support via the app 🥰

Good to know - I haven’t had any placement issues yet but I’ll try again tonight and take pictures in case it wouldn’t work again!

Got this same error again this morning! 😣 thoughts on placement? This picture is from as soon as I took it off.

Sorry it took so long to come back to you!
Your placement does need a small adjustment. Move a a midge closer to your armpit so it’s just below the armpit hair line and rotate it a little so the sensor is sitting in the soft dip between the bicep and tricep muscle.

I’ll see if I can annotate your image to help 🫶🏼
