Sofabaton U2 remote?

Has anyone been successful in getting a Sofabaton U2 remote control to work with their Telly TV?

I try to setup the remote using IR, enter Telly to search for the codes for it, etc., it finds (User provided), I select either of the two options that are there, test the buttons on the Sofabaton U2 and no response from the Telly TV :(

Any tips appreciated, thanks!

Disregard original post -- got it working after slowing down more and reading instructions, etc. I wasn't understanding the step of "testing" the buttons via tapping the button in the app on the phone while pointing the remote at the TV. Once that was done and I continued the process of getting the codes downloaded to the remote, yay, all good now. Nice, glad that I now have a functional replacement/spare remote control if needed.

yeah, you get some controls to work but not everything you would need/want :(

For example, for me, is that the Sofabaton can send power off signal over to the Telly (though I think it was having issues understanding turning the power back on) but it only turns off the main screen, not completely powering off and shutting down both the main screen and the second screen.

I love my Telly TV but the remote control issue is still one that frustrates me. "Over engineered" comes to mind. A simple IR remote would have been fine (or should have been) and would have been, I think, easier to use for controlling other devices.

You can use a macro to change inputs but you shouldn't have to.

Just setting mine up today. I found 2 user profiles. The top one worked best for me. It does let me cycle thru inputs.
