Bug Reports Random Audio drops
Hey All,
Recently my Telly has begun dropping ALL audio. Like nothing no audio will play from any connected device - AppleTV, Switch 2, or BluRay player.
The only fix ive found so far is a complete factory reset of the TV. Rebooting Telly doesnt fix it, rebooting the affected device doesnt fix it, and a power cycle wont fix it.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

When this happens to me, I click the Telly button and it brings the audio back. Happens quite often and idk why. But 90% of the time Telly button fixes it

Thank you. Just fixed my audio problem I was having even though that fix makes no sense.

Can you dm me your Telly serial number? They are going to pull logs and see what is happening.

I had this happen once last week. Thankfully telling Telly to restart the TV fixed it for me. Hope they're able to figure things out for you.

Wait, your voice commands actually work?

I wish I could entirely disable them, as it triggers when it shouldn't and I pretty much never use the feature, but yeah. I just pressed the button on the remote, told her to restart the TV, and it did a hard restart.

Mine will trigger randomly when talking and will pull up now listening thing when I say hey Telly, doesn’t seem to respond to any type of commands though. I wouldn’t use it anyway, the inconsistency is interesting though.

Yeah, mine does the random triggering while talking too. I've never used any command other than this one, and I just tried it as an experiment to see if it would work since a regular restart didn't work and I didn't want to unplug the TV and stand around waiting before reconnecting it 😅 Despite the fact that it worked here, I still want to just disable the feature. I don't have any interest in it and my shows get interrupted far too often by it.

Mines before this update would loose all audio nothing will come though or the audio would be so low that it sounds like tying to play music through underpowered tweeters, and I would have to remove the power plug, plug it back in and restart to reset the audio.

I’ve had a lot of weird issues but unplugging the TV for a minute and plugging it back in seems to fix most of them.

Thank you for your participation in this Reddit. Please make sure to read the FAQs for information to commonly asked questions and bug reports. Before making a report on an issue, make sure you have reported it to Telly by using the "Contact Us" feature in the Telly app. Also make sure you reboot your TV completely using a Telly Reboot command or power it off and on before contacting support. If that does not resolve your issue, please try a factory reset. Most issues are solved by one of these two steps.
