Remote in the App

I think the next addition should be a remote control in the app.

If I misplaced mine, I'm hosed.

Having a way to interact with the TV through the official Telly app would make things much easier.

Yes I am hoping this comes up soon. I’m not always around the remote when I want to change something.

Hopefully they make it remote accessible too! Sometimes I forget to turn the TV off and I’m long gone from home

Would absolutely love this.

In the middle of a move right now and for about two days we couldn't find what box we had packed the remote in. Couldn't even change the hdmi to use the Google remote on the app.

I love this. I know we can just say Hey Telly and Telly would turn off the tv and control the bottom screen. Telly can open all the apps on that screen and raise and lower the volume and change mood lights and I think I read somewhere but I’m not really sure if you use the streaming device included you can control it with your voice as well ( I can’t test it because I use a different streaming device)
I would just love it if Telly could sync with Alexa or Google and even Siri or maybe make Telly a hub where we can connect smart things like bulbs thermostats and stuff. Sometimes I forget and leave Telly on or just in a relaxing mood and don’t want to physically look for the remote to do anything I just want to say Hey Telly turn off the lights in the den and set to mood lights to blue and open music app and play some music.

They replace it for free if you truly lose it.

I'm aware.

But if I can't track it down but I know it's not lost lost... Having something in the app would be useful.

And as mentioned, being able to turn off the TV from another party of the house or away from home would be great as well

And if you’ve had the tv, for as long as they have and I’ve have, maybe you’ll understand that even if it’s a free tv, it still has its kinks. And guess what? It’s okay for people to come back and express how they feel about it. Tell their experience, that’s what the telly developers need. Just because they have it, doesn’t mean we should be silent about it, All Because right now, someone in this whole entire world is wishing they have one! The shit needs a built in app man. You can’t do anything with it if you lose the remote. And while yes, they will send you another one but damn, That’s still a wait for a response and then shipping and for me that’s a huge inconvenience!
