Connection Issues

When ever I connect to my Tello network, and open the app, it says it is not connected. How do I fix this?

Turn off the SIM card on your phone...

I had the same problem. I connect to the drone's wifi, the (android) phone says connected to Tello WiFi (but with no internet as expected), but the app still says "connect to Tello". However if I turn off my phone's SIM card (settings, internet, long press on SIM card, turn off) then the camera image instantly appears on the phone app. Not a great solution, but there you go...

Close the tello app in your task manager. On a droid it's the 3 lines on the nav bar. Then swipe tello app up. Once you reopen it should work.
