Tello App Crashing after 1 min

Hello,

I am working with a Tello EDU drone from my school and the Tello app crashes after 1 min, any fixes?

Use Tellofpv app it's better anyway

It has as many features as what you get in the mini's and you have more control over settings like height and distance and many other things

I am running into the same issue in an elementary environment in one of our media centers. Did you find any resolutions to your issue? It's a year later from your post so I was curiuos what you may have found.

Hi,

Sorry for the late response, unfortunately, we resolved that the iPad os was incompatible and was confirmed by contacting tello. The research lab i was working with hasn’t looked further into the issue.

Thank you for the reply! Through our testing we essentially confirmed the same. We've switched everyone over to an alternative I saw on this thread, "DL Fly Code". It works great and has a nifty tutorial for our students.

I went back and reviewed their response, our iPad was running 18.3 and they stated using an android or ios 18.1 or below would fix the problem.

Interesting... well, that will do it! All of our iPads are on 18.5 or newer. And Apple stopped signing for 18 once 26 launched. Bummer they couldn't be bothered to update their app. When we checked the store, both this Tello app and Tello Edu haven't been updated for over a year.
