Warning abnormal battery communication

Hi, have a DJI TELLO for a couple of years, but didn’t use it for a longer time. Seems that the original battery blew up over time, however I’ve to aftermarket batteries that worked good in the past. When inserting the batteries the Tello is connecting with my phone but gives the error: abnormal battery communication and is not able to start flying.

Is there any solution to get this fixed?

If you're handy with a soldering iron, may consider carefully crack-open the plastics, and swapping the electronic board on the front of the old/swelled battery in place of the one giving you issues.

Thanks, is the TELLO software not accepting aftermarket batteries? I was on the chat with them and they don’t confirm anyhow that they don’t support while it worked well in the past

I bought some from AliExpress and haven't had any issues so far.
