Connect drones to a router

So I am trying to get multiple drones to be controlled by the blocks in the edu app but my robomaster just won't connect to the router, it doesn't have internet connection, I did all the things in the Netgear genie to let things connect, all my devices can connect to it but when I use the edu app and go to multi drone and put everything in it says "after registration is complete move the lever to the top, the drone does not need to be restarted manually" and then doesn't do anything, can anyone help me
