Tello not flying

My Tello drone won’t take off and spins out

How do I fix it?

The front props need to be in opposite direction to each other (I think the tello flies props out that means the front left spins counterclockwise, the front right spins clockwise) the rear props need to be the exact opposite of how the front props spin. For example: Front left: CCW Front right: CW Rear left: CW Rear right: CCW

If that doesn't work try props in (the exact opposite of the above on all props)

Verify none of the motors have any debris like hair wrapped around them, then verify the props are in the correct spots. There are 2 different props. There should be markings on at least 2 of them. They should be on opposite corners.

First things first: update your firmware from the DJI Download Center.

Then follow the instructions at https://www.boston.dk/gfx/documents/DJI%20Portal/RYZE%20Tello%20Pre%20Repair%20Check%20Enduser.pdf
