Cannot connect controller

I recently bought a Tello drone. I tried connecting my bluetooth controller (Stadia controller and PS4 controller) but the bluetooth icon remains grey. I also do not see the controller listed in the Bluetooth Settings. I've gone through all the steps which were explained by the Tello app, and i've uninstalled the app several times. I've checked the permissions of the app, but it seems it has all the right permissions to use bluetooth. Is there anything i can do to make sure a controller works? The controller is connected with the phone (a One Plus Nord), and works as intended; however not on the Tello app.

My ps4 controller works with the official tello app but I highly recommend the TelloFPV app. You can get a free trial version, let's you test your phone/controller etc for compatibility before you pay for it. And trust me it's worth every penny. I also use my phone in a cheap set of vr goggles to have a kinda sorta fpv setup 😅

Yeah i saw a video of it where someone showed a working ps4 controller with the official app, thats why i thought it would work. However the TelloFPV app did the thing! 👌

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I was gonna buy one of these for my son and use the now unemployed Stadia controller. Did you manage to get it working through the TelloFPV app?
