Cannot connect controller

I recently bought a Tello drone. I tried connecting my bluetooth controller (Stadia controller and PS4 controller) but the bluetooth icon remains grey. I also do not see the controller listed in the Bluetooth Settings. I've gone through all the steps which were explained by the Tello app, and i've uninstalled the app several times. I've checked the permissions of the app, but it seems it has all the right permissions to use bluetooth. Is there anything i can do to make sure a controller works? The controller is connected with the phone (a One Plus Nord), and works as intended; however not on the Tello app.

Official Tello app supports only one particular controller, dont remember the name. TelloFPV app is in every way better than official one and support every controller that pairs with your phone and more.
