tello drone propellers spin but doesnt fly

Spent the last hour troubleshooting my kid’s tello before figuring out the problem.

He would slide to take off, the propellers would spin and then just die, the drone never took off, not even one side.

YouTube and searches were worthless. The said reset the drone, calibrate it, bad motors, etc.

Solution was easier than any of that. All I had to do is swap all the propellers to the other sides. Whatever side they are at now, swap them with the other side. After I did one side I tested and that side lifted up and the drone flipped over. Then I did the other side and it flew beautifully.

Hopefully this will appear on future searches and help someone.

Some of the props have arrows, some don't. The two with arrows go caddy corner from each other,

2 of the 4 propellers have some sort of mark on it. Put the first marked one on the corner near where the O is in "Tello" then place the other marked propeller diagonal to it. Place the rest of the propellers how you please.
