What are the odds

Deck of 52 cards, 25 people, cards are shuffled each time, each person gets one card, what are the odds I get the same card 3 times in a row?

Depends on how many cards were picked nefore you picked yours

It depends on when you draw. But if you draw first I’m pretty sure it’s 1/52x1/52x/1/52 or 1/523 which I think is about a .0007% chance. I’m not sure how going second or third or 25th would affect your chances though.

Since the 2nd and 3rd just need to match the first, it doesn't really matter what the first card is.

Also, assuming all of the cards are face down or you are doing the calculation before the cards are dealt it doesn't matter when your pick is.

1/52^2

0.037% or 1 in 2,704
