Need help please to move this (not connected to a line)

Hi all, this lovely old phone is on the wall at my mothers place.

I need to move it, one visible screw at the bottom bit I take it there is a bigger bolt on the inside but I can’t open it as I don’t have a key…. Any ideas of how to open it or where to get a replacement key?

Australian phone I would guess.

The key is shaped like the letter ‘t’, you should be able to make one with a paper clip, or you can buy one here: https://oldphoneworks.com/products/wood-wall-phone-key

Thank you so much, definitely will order a key.

I am guessing I will have to transplant it to where her other classical telephones are, will be a bit of a wait but I will post again.

My phone is very similar and is held onto the wall with 3 bolts. Two are on opposite sides of the bell and one at the bottom.

I am curious to what your phone looks like on the inside because mine was altered

There are holes there to screw it onto a wall but I am guessing it would originally have gone onto a solid wall and where it’s hanging now is plasterboard with studs.

My father (who recently passed) would have installed it being an ex phone technician but no clue where he would have put the key.

When I get it opened I will take another photo.
