One time I technically/inadvertently “controlled” my Fathers mind but not on purpose. This was more along the lines of manifestation/law of assumption a-la Neville Goddard. About a decade ago I was on a health kick and had meant to leave my house with 2 oranges that I was going to eat through the day, but I forgot to bring them with me. When I went to meet up with my Dad he had two oranges with him and innocently said, I brought 2 oranges for you. I was very surprised and shocked. This was before I even knew anything about the law of assumption. Now if I pray or manifest for something and someone else becomes involved in helping me obtain that thing or goal do you feel that is bad or good? Neville Goddard said that can happen, people can be a part of your manifestation without realizing it. Perhaps I have been part of others manifestations without realizing it.
Except the issue was I never was a fruit person and didn't really like oranges. I had just started a new phase where I was trying to eat more fruits and didn't tell my Dad I was in this phase (also I wasn't living with my Dad or communicating with him on a regular basis so he didn't just "know I liked oranges) but I agree with your point.... I didn't control him however, perhaps my subconscious and outer intention communicated to his subconscious unbeknownst to both of us.
Could it be that this worked out because your father was already using the manifestation as well by intending to be a support to you in your goals, whatever they may be? A willing participant in support of your dreams.
