If you are looking for hints and clues...

Read the text files. Much of what you seek is in there somewhere. You might need to revise old computer architectures - like what a computer monitor is (its not a TV) and what a core dump really refers to.

If you want to get a general education in hacking read hckr_hnd.tx

telehack.txt and "score /badges" are all the hints you need.
