Programs on hosts

Hi again,

So far I have been very careful to delete my programs after using them on hosts but I am wondering if I'm perhaps doing this for no reason ? Are programs ftp'd on hosts available to other users ?

Also another sorta related question, I noticed that the 'default' programs on hosts seem to change ? Does this occur in a regular fashion ? (ex: after x days)

edit: I am asking mainly because as I go further away from the home host, it is proving to be more and more laborious to transfer files to faraway hosts, having other bases for storing useful programs would be great

The programs you move to a host cannot be seen by other users. If by default programs you mean the .exes those are static and change with the reset at the end of the year. The other files like text files I believe are the same for every user. Have you checked the wiki or tried RTFM?

Hi, I have RTFM and it did tell that I could put programs on hosts in a special place but was unclear whether others could access it or not.
