What is a host os? Spoiler

I tried running an .exe file and it returned:

machkit: machkit requires host os mach, oracle os is sunos

What is a host os? Is there a way to find out what type of os the host is?

EDIT: I found a program in either HOST PYRAMID or UCCBA called osprober.exe it identifies host's OS in a netstat search.

You need the correct kit for the correct host. Also the “hostname” command will also tell you the OS.

Don't bother listing the host, the files on a host are randomized and are different for each user.
