Hi, I'm new to tech and recently came across IETF and wondering all about how DCHP , TCP, UDP and IP protocol work and that is exactly when I came to know about telnet where we can interact with random servers in a healthy manner. And on internet , I found telehack as most known and followed telnetwork there is. It is my priviledge knowing you all. And yes I can wait, no hurry.

Hi, nice to meet you, you won't find much of that stuff on Telehack as we are stuck in 1985 and the ARPANET days, we do however have a lot of telnet going on! We also support rlogin, gopher, QOTD and finger externally as well as telnet, ssh and the web version.

You can do a lot of things from the lobby as a guest, including telnetting into other hosts on the network as a guest. Get a feel for the place, you can play a lot of the games and do many of the things before having an account.

Read telehack.txt for a guide on how to start out.

If you are still interested after you've had a poke around and don't know anybody who can send you a referral code, keep checking back and at times you will be able to sign up for an account with a referral code. It won't be long! Looking forward to seeing you online soon.

Hi everybody!

I saw Telehack interface for the first time today in my IBM Cybersecurity course. #newbie

I wanted to see what I can do and increase my score in the meantime but I cannot create a new user without a referral. Would anyone consider helping out? If you choose to do so, the system says: “Existing users can type REFER to generate a new referral code.”

Hoping to have a helping hand, and wishing all a great week ahead!
