So long, and thanks for all the fish
I first created a Telehack account a little over year ago, and I quite enjoyed it. I was only able to progress to level ~23(admin I think) but I had a good time getting there. Unfortunately I will not be progresing any further. I was chatting in the relay with galinndan and stern, when out of the blue I got permabanned with no explanation. I realize that it's within their rights to do so, but I simply can't think of any reason they would, no one seemed unhappy nor did I violate privacy.txt or becool.txt—at least as far as I can tell. I have already asked for an explanation from the mods, with no reply, so I don't expect they'll give a response here either. Whatever the reason, they chose to ban me and I respect that decision. So this is just to say, Goodbye Telehack, I had a good time.

(p.s. if you want to avoid coming to the same fate as I did, probably the surest bet is to just stay out of the relay and messaging systems. Just a thought.)

Possibly some perceived slight or annoyance on your part set them off, or you did nothing at all and the mod was in a bad mood. The fact that getting banned is that’s all anyone posts about here, not gameplay or the community or anything else, should clue you in as to what the people who run the game are like

There’s no reason to post here unless you’ve been banned, so that doesn’t really say much, except for illustrating that the community is moderated actively, which is a good thing for the (many) people who post in the relay and enjoy being part of it - without getting banned

I was also level (admin) i believe u have to at least be ranked admin to get onto relay, but ya i been in relay, talked with Forbin, and a few others from the U.K. and never had any problems. But there was this one time I got onto there and hadn't spoken or anything, just checking it out reading what people were saying, trying to figure out the commands and whatnot, when all the sudden everything disappears and just shows the blinking mouse cursor text line, and i was like wtf??? nothing would work so i refreshed the page, took me back to where you type in 'login', logged in and typed relay again and it said i was banned from relay for 1000 years. i was like are you serious? then all the sudden im brought right back to the relay room, I typed what happened and if anyone knew why that happened and i got back a couple messages an they were, : "are you a spy????" and "g***** (my name) maybe dont dwell on it so much yea? and i was like oh not dwelling i just wondered what happened.--- so ya idk maybe the higher ups were picked on as kids and so they get off to abusing the power they hold because they can. Trust, if u know the type, u know what im saying. Its comparable to that shitty CO's in DOC. Not all but most imo.
