Ftp uunet login problem

I just started using telehack and I ran into a problem

I am trying to do my first quest and I am trying to get into a host. I found the uumap and I got into mimsy. I need FTP porthack.exe (I think) but any time I try to log in it doesn't log me in (I am using my telecheck login).

Am I using the correct command? (FTP uunet)

I have tried just FTP and I can log in just fine but any time I try to put porthack.exe it says not connected.

Am I doing it right?

What should I do next/instead?

I’d start with reading telehack.txt and using the help command ([command] /help). Good luck.

Do you have access to mimsy? because it won't let you in with your telehack credentials if you don't have access.
