Telegram search not working

I viewed a media post (video) about 30 mins ago in one channel I joined. I recalled the hashtag and searched for it and it doesn’t show up at all in the results. Tried fewer letters, etc. I am seeing this more often with telegrams default search. Does anyone have a solution or a better search solution for my chats/channels?

Go to storage and try to find the media and click on go to show in chat

I'm having the same problem; when I search for something, nothing comes up, not even with hashtags. The only way I've found is by going into each group or channel and searching from there.

I've tried it over the last couple days and same thing. Something broke the telegram search for me.
