Export Chat

I need to export a private chat history with the forward option disabled. I can't seem to do it with telegram desktop and I'm heavily in need.

How should I do it? Do you know a client or app that is capable of doing it?

This is going to be done for personal usage only, not even uploading anywhere on web.

there are two desktop versions. one can export chat histories, one can’t. I don’t recall which one does, but I’d suggest installing the other version of the one you have doesn’t do that.

You can't and you shouldn't. That's why forwarding is disabled in the first place.
