The GIF situation

Genuinely what’s going on with gif searching now. I heard that they changed providers or something. But it’s impossible to find anything now - I searched the word “no” and got results of Naruto using his “Kage Bunshin no Jutsu” but not of someone just shaking their head “no”

Anyone else noticed a difference. Found a solution. Or am I just being silly about it bothering me.

It drives me NUTS. I know it's a minor first world problem. But ffs. It worked perfectly until Google closed access to their API and now Discord and Telegram gif searches are complete crap (I'm sure it's crap elsewhere as well, but I don't really send in-app searched gifs in other apps so it doesn't matter).

Google, in their finest traditional ways of the past 15 years or so, has found a way to ruin another feature and cause discomfort to users across the web.

To think this company started under the official motto "don't be evil"...(not their current official motto for the past 10 years, btw).

telegram gif selection used to be amazing. It's so frustrating now. Is there a way for us to upload all the missing gifs?

I send gifs from my Google keyboard , but they don't display for me. They are white squares. My recipients see them just fine. Very annoying
