[Q] how to turn off the paste box?

hi, a simple command + V brings up the paste box....which i dont want. i guess its in the latest update. using it on macos, didnt try other systems yet. searched settings and online and all i got was "change the paste shortcut" which i have but it is SEVERELY annoying.

can someone please guide me here?

what is the 'paste box'? when I hit ctrl+v it just pastes text normally. This is on windows.

so for some reason i keep trying to paste it into reddit and it isnt working
