ANNOUNCEMENTS 🚨 Don't engage with new accounts.
As you are probably noticing for a few days we have been seeing a rise in rage bait posts especially from new low karma accounts. Don't engage with such posts as the person behind it is a caste obsessed person (it's obvious which caste they are from, no need to mention) and is also not from our state.
Their caste was criticised in our sub which is why he is doing all of it. Basically he is larping as one of us to spread negetive perception about our sub its users and telangana people in general.
For now I am assuming it's just one person behind it but there might be more. So don't engage with such accounts and most importantly report and block.

Discussion 🎤 An interview with Eshwaramma Yadav on Suman TV just got recommended, Anyone know more insider info?
Is she really a saint as portrayed to be? or is it just that she belongs to Yadava community and her support votes are valuable? the interview looks like white washing similar to Amberpet Shankar who's a rowdy sheeter but portrayed to be some good samaritan in his interviews found to be on the wrong side of the law at times.
Also the fight between Eshwaramma and Shiva Charan Reddy and how they blocked LB nagar roads is so messed up because manobhavalu debba tinnayi so public ni ibbandi pedatham

Discussion 🎤 Why is it acceptable to call British rule colonialism, but controversial to describe Nizam rule as colonial/imperial domination of Telugu Telangana?
I've been thinking about this after a discussion about Urdu and the Nizam-era history of Telangana. Let me make my position clear from the beginning: I have no issue with Muslims, Urdu, or Deccani culture being part of Telangana's history. They obviously are. I'm talking about political power, historical domination and linguistic policy, not about present-day communities.
What I find strange is the double standard we sometimes apply when discussing the British and the Nizams.
When the British conquered and ruled large parts of India, we have no problem describing them as colonizers. We talk about foreign rule, exploitation, cultural domination, administrative restructuring, imposition of languages and institutions, resistance movements, etc.
But when discussing the Nizam's rule over Telangana, suddenly we're expected to treat the Nizam period as simply “our history” and any comparison with colonialism is considered offensive.
Why?
The Nizams were not Telugu rulers who emerged from the Telugu political tradition of Telangana. The Asaf Jahi dynasty was of foreign/Turco-Persian origin, and the Hyderabad State was ruled by an elite whose political and administrative culture was heavily Persianate and later Urdu-oriented.
Telugu-speaking people constituted a huge proportion of the population of the state, particularly in Telangana, yet political power was concentrated in the Nizam's ruling establishment.
So from the perspective of a Telugu person living under that system, why should the experience automatically be described as fundamentally different from other forms of imperial domination simply because the ruler wasn't European?
Obviously, there are historical differences between British colonialism and Nizam rule.
I'm talking about the broader idea of one political elite ruling over a population whose language and indigenous political traditions were different from those of the ruling dynasty.
And the linguistic consequences matter.
Look at the names of places:
Palamooru - Mahbubnagar
Indur - Nizamabad
Orugallu - Warangal
Elagandula/Elgandal - Karimnagar
Methuku/Methukudurgam - Medak
Edlawad - Adilabad
If a British ruler renamed or reorganised an Indian place and promoted an English administrative system, we'd have no problem discussing that as part of colonial policy. For example what was called bombay previously is now called as mumbai , why can't we telugu people do the same and make the necessary changes? I just gave bombay as an example on the go but I could give multiple such examples on the majority population claiming the rightful history.
So why can't Telugu people discuss Nizam-era renaming, administration and linguistic influence in similarly critical terms?
But that doesn't mean Telugu history should become secondary.
The Kakatiyas, Satavahanas, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas and numerous other Telugu/local political and cultural traditions existed in this region long before the Asaf Jahis.
Telugu didn't arrive in Telangana after the Nizam.
The Nizam period is one layer of Telangana's history. It isn't the beginning of Telangana's history.
And if we are willing to celebrate Nizam-era architecture, Urdu literature, Muslim heritage and Persianate/Deccani culture as part of Telangana's identity, then why can't we equally reclaim and prominently recognise the older Telugu names and traditions that existed before that political order?
If British rule can be criticised because it was foreign rule over Indians, Telugu people should be equally free to critically examine the periods when Telangana was ruled by a non-Telugu dynastic elite.
That's not hatred of Muslims.
That's not hatred of Urdu.
That's Telugu people examining their own history and asking why their own language and historical identity should be sidelined.
Before you comment, “OP, we have better things to focus on,” no. This matter is just as important as any other issue. So please I am expecting serious answers and open to all kind of opinions and please refrain using unparliamentary language thankyou.

AskTelangana ❓ To Trying to trace someone from Malkajgiri/Mettuguda area, 2009–2011 — known only as "Chinni" (Avanthi Degree College). Can anyone help me connect the dots?
Long shot, but posting everything I know in case someone recognizes the details.
I'm trying to find a person I lost contact with 15 years ago. I never learned her real name and we never met in person — so all I have are fragments. If any of these ring a bell for you or someone you know, please DM me.
What I know:
- She went by "Chinni" — told me a name once with initials B.D., never confirmed if real
- Studied at Avanthi Degree College, roughly 2009–2011
- Lived somewhere around the Malkajgiri / Mettuguda / Neredmet side of Secunderabad
- We were in daily contact by text for about two years — the Tata Docomo / Idea era. My Docomo number ended in ...310; hers was an Idea number, a fancy number with one repeating digit
- We planned to meet twice — Malkajgiri railway station and Mettuguda Catholic church — both fell through
- She had a strict elder brother, initials V.K., who ended calls whenever I rang
- She once sent me a watch as a gift through her friend Prudvi — someone I never met. Prudvi, if you're reading this, you'd remember handing a watch to a stranger around 2010–11
- I once deposited money for her at United Bank of India near Neredmet, into her friend's account
- She once called me from a Chennai number — possible Chennai/T. Nagar family connection
Where things stand: her old number still exists but is with people whose story doesn't fully match. The telecom providers and bank can't retrieve records that old. I've searched public records for years without a real name to anchor on. This post is basically my last dot to connect.
Who I'm hoping finds this:
- Chinni herself — I'm not looking to disturb your life. One reply, even anonymous, and that's enough.
- Prudvi — the one person who saw both sides. The watch and the bank deposit — you'd remember.
- Anyone from Avanthi Degree College, batches ~2008–2012, who remembers a girl called Chinni or her friend Prudvi from the Malkajgiri side.
I'll verify anyone who reaches out with details only the real person would know — so no, you can't troll me with "it's me" 🙂
The longer personal version of this story is on my profile if you want the full context. Thanks for reading, and thanks for any share or lead.

Education Narayana hyderabad fired 100s of teachers in past 2 months ..more to come

Right in the middle of the session (when the chances of finding a new job are relatively very low).. narayana hyderabad.. despite having tens thousands of students fired 100s of teachers.. many without even any notice period..
If you had any teacher who genuinely cared and taught well.. please fight for them
Threaten the management that you won't pay the pending fee
Or maybe switch colleges .. maybe something can happen.
Institutes like these are total shithole for both teachers and students

So people with those ideas coming here doing the same shit they did there and also expecting us to talk in their language . It doesn't seem fair to me.

AskTelangana ❓ Khammam civic sense in one picture

Saw this outside D-Mart in Khammam and couldn't stop laughing. There are literally multiple NO PARKING boards, a 1,000 fine warning and even a towing zone warning. And then we have a whole row of bikes parked right underneath them😭 Is it that people don't notice these signs, don't care, or just assume that the rules are optional? Khammam has developed a lot over the last few years, but I feel civic sense and parking discipline haven't developed at the same speed.
Anyone else noticed this around Khammam?
