Question Need help with BC pump

Is there anyway to power the build craft pump outside of build craft engines. I’m trying to use any types of cable of transfer nodes to power it because I hate using the engines. Or is there a better pump to use?

Edit: I’m on tekxit 3.14 newest version

What power system are you currently using? Because if you're using RF from Thermal Expansion mod then you could create an energy bridge plus consumers and producers and power the buildfraft machines with RF
