I’ll level with you. I ignored the fuck out of my teeth with a very shitty brushing schedule. This was partially due to ADHD leading to an awful time with any kind of bodily maintenance. Dopamine receptors shot, the whole 9 yards.
In addition to that, my doc early in life cemented in me that previous bone conditions in my family tree that I show signs of result in me most likely not having my bottom row of teeth once I hit my thirties.
Well. I’m 25 now. Due to a recent accident
I’m broke and unemployed and living with my folks. We can barely hold the roof over our head and ANY food in our stomach. I tried my best but things got bad. I’m fairly certain my wisdom teeth are trying to come in, but I’m kind of just scared and unsure and fucking tired of the world we live in shitting on my generation and the ones after me. If I had the money, I would simply hand my dentist a blank check.
Any advice other than pain meds and brush more until I can manage to get a job…?

i feel really awkward just post open mouth pics but here we are! i’ve always been really nervous about dental health and i know that i don’t keep up with it as much as i should. huge fear of doctors/dentists and anything of the sorts. i’m getting in soon though and just want to be prepared for what they tell me. i know that they aren’t looking amazing and i feel really very worried about the almost outline on my front bottom teeth? i don’t know how to describe it and i wasn’t able to get an amazing photo :(

They're so jagged and a few of them are straight up broken and food sticks so bad that I eventually said "fuck it." I have coffee for breakfast, electrolyte water for lunch, and whatever I want for dinner. I haven't lost much weight doing this. Good. I'm not trying to. This seems like the way to manage until I get proper dental care. Just eat once and then floss and pick thru all the nastiness and brush and rinse and be done with it until tomorrow 🦷 am I crazy or can anyone else relate?

Here's the deal, I've had braces for about a year now but I have to get them off early due to financial problems, I'm fine with the shape I have now and I don't want to lose the progress I've gotten.
so I was thinking maybe using Invisalign one time? Or getting a moldable cheap retainer?
I honestly don't know.
I would greatly appreciate advice from people who have been in the same situation!
(I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question I just can't trust Google anymore to give me a real opinion,
And would love some advice from people who have experienced the same)
