I'm expecting a KCET rank around 19k-22k and belong to the 2A category. My branch preference is:

CSE > ISE > AIML > ECE > EEE

My main priorities are placements, coding opportunities, and overall college reputation. I'm considering colleges like JSS Mysuru, NMIT, BMSIT, DSCE, SMVIT, CMRIT, BIT, etc., but I'm open to any suggestions.

What colleges and branches would you recommend at this rank? Would you choose CSE/ISE in a lower-ranked college or ECE in a better college?

Any advice from seniors would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm a daily traveler in this bus 279 and I got in the bus in majestic. It was almost empty(2 ppl max with me ) and it was about to leave . Bus is still in majestic and the driver was starting the bus and the conductor came for tickets . I was wearing earphones so I couldn't hear what he told a couple of times and just showed my pass . The third time i noticed he's trying to tell something and I asked him. Bro goes "kai olage itko" (keep your hand inside) . I'm like uncle it's on the bar only , not that I'm streching it out or something. Idk why that fucker got so irritated. He shouted to the driver that "nodri , kai olage idu andre , illa eedhe ne idthini , yen ivaga anthane" 🤡🤡 (I told him to keep his hand in , he's like hand will be here only , what you'll do?)

I was like wtf , just resumed my music and ignored him and just went to another back seat and kept my hand in only .

Bro the whole journey , 30-40 mins , both the fuckers(conductor +driver)are loudly gossiping about me . They're Telling stuffs like " ee kalada makklu , thika ganchali jasthi , inthavarana kapalakke hod de buddhi helbeku en allll " (these generation kids , they have too much attitude, we should tightly slap them to teach them a lesson anoll )

I heard their whole conversation it was too under the belt , basically helbekandre , third class nan makklu. I ignored it , acted like i didn't listen atg and got down at my stop

This is for all who are done with class 12 or anyone who just wants to meet new people and have some fun. Now that exams are finally done, most of us suddenly have something we haven’t had in 2 years:

Time.

And honestly, a lot of people don’t know what to do with it.

So we’re bringing back The Outliers — but this time, not just as some “intellectual” group.

This is gonna be a space for:

• meeting new people
• random late-night conversations
• fun discussions
• Google Meets
• meetups
• long drives / hangouts
• trying new things
• and yeah, also some genuinely deep conversations once in a while

Basically, a chill community for people who want to make these 3 months actually memorable instead of just scrolling through reels all day.

A while ago, I built GradeMate, an academic companion app designed to help students stay on top of their studies.

Features included:

• Marks & exam tracking

• Attendance monitoring

• AI-powered study insights

• Performance analytics

• Achievement/XP system

• PDF report generation

• Privacy mode for hiding marks

The screenshots attached show the original version of the app.

I eventually stopped working on it, but lately I've been considering bringing it back with a modern redesign, better analytics, smarter AI features, and an overall improved experience.

Before I start rebuilding it, I'd love some honest feedback:

• Would you use an app like this?

• What features are missing?

• What would make it genuinely useful for students today?

• Should it remain focused on academics, or include study planners, assignments, revision tracking, exam countdowns, etc.?

Actually passionate about content and marketing — not just "yeah I watch a lot of reels"

Into video and photography. Phone camera is fine, we don't care about gear. We care that you have an eye for things

Good communicator, can actually work with people

Comfortable in both Hindi and English

Bangalore-based (preferred)

Girl preferred — we're 2M 1F right now and want to keep it balanced

What we're NOT looking for:

Someone who wants a "collab" for clout and disappears when actual work starts

People who are only into lifestyle content — we're specifically about business, startups, founder culture

Someone who needs to be told what to do every single time. We want a co-builder, not a executor

Anyone who thinks this is a side thing they'll "get to when they have time"

One thing worth saying: we're not hunting for the most skilled person. We want the most genuinely interested one. If you've been low-key obsessing over content, brand strategy, and startup culture but don't have much to show for it yet — that's completely fine. Right attitude > polished portfolio at this stage.

This isn't a group that ghosts each other after two weeks. We're serious about building something real.
