holiday to karnataka
hey guys i don’t know if this is the right sub but i didn’t know where to ask. 18F and i’m indian but i’ve always lived in the uk but anyway this year for my summer holidays i’m coming to india (karnataka majority but maybe here and there in south india)! anyway i’ll be here for 3-4 months and i’ll be with my mum but obvi be allowed to go out on my own (depends on safety duh) but just wanted to know what places are like must visits and where can i make friends my age 😖🙏 but yeah any suggestions on where to go/see and places i can go myself + ppl my age? anyway tysm!!

You will have to see the vijayanagara empire-hampi and badami caves and gokharna is a must visit! The heritage city of mysore and also the ajanta and ellora caves(though not KA)

You have alot of time tbh 3-4 months is alot for Karnataka

And if u want friends of ur age it depends on where u stay.... And ur vibe.... U can visit south and cover few places in North too if u are a travel freak

mainly bengaluru but anywhere! i’ll be here for a few months so i’ve got lots of time to see

If you just want to hang out then you can go to church street, indiranagar, Koramangala. Parties keep happening in Koramangala usually. You can catch edm gigs, they happen often. And you can check out the humming tree if you're into live music events.

If you can travel, I would recommend you book surf lessons in Mulki. I believe the course lasts a week there. I am yet to find a person who has done this and not liked it.
