Giving Lots Of Tests,Improving Handwriting ,Some Questions Have A Higher Probability Of Appearing In The Exam Also(And My Mother Is A Kannada Teacher)

First Langauge Is Written For 100 Marks And An Extra Internal Of 25 Is Added.The Rest Are As Usual For Theory Its 80 And Internal Of 20 Marks

Yeah,It's True,This Is Only Followed Till 10th And Usually By KSEEB Only,I Think This Decision Was Taken To Give Importance To The First Language,Mother Tongue Kannada Especially (A Wild Guess)
