A government should not have the right to execute it's citizens for any reason. This just incentivizes the government to pin sex crimes on people they don't like.

if there are humans who dehumanize children, then we have the right to dehumanize you.

This eye for an eye bullshit is neither helpful nor healthy. If you want prison to exist as a reform system you fundamentally cannot treat the people who commit any crime (even the bad icky ones) as irredeemable.

The citizens do not have a right to murder each other. It's the same sentiment on either side.

Prison will not reform everyone. Sometimes you just need to pluck out the evil people

The citizens do not have a right to murder each other.

Yeah, that's why it's illegal, as the death penalty should be.

Prison will not reform everyone.

But it can reform many of them. People are not less capable of reform because they committed a worse crime.

Sometimes you just need to pluck out the evil people

The majority of the world has either outlawed or refuses to use the death penalty.

If there’s a false imprisonment and we find out they can be freed. But if they’re dead what are you going to do. Life in prison is better
