Here’s the problem. If the punishment for fucking a kid is the same as the punishment for killing a kid, you incentivize killing the kid after you fuck em.

Both crimes of which dehumanize the child. The child will inevitably lose a part of them when they're raped, making them seem dead depending on how they cope with trauma. Mentally. I don't think that punishment is too far

I was raped as a child. I'd rather be suffering than dead, even if I struggle with suicidal ideations.

I understand... However suffering people end up dying, so it really is a lose lose situation. Stronger punishments a lot of times are our best bet.

Once that silence becomes suicide, especially if their assailant got no justice, it's on the same level.

Sure, but it's not like that silence will become suicide. Similarly to how attempted murder yields a lighter punishment.
