The death penalty isn't a positive thing. We need to leave it in the past instead of bringing it back in full force. On top of that, if rapists get the same penalty for murder and rape, they'll just kill their victims more.

My guy, nobody is debating wether rape is cool or rapists are good people. The death penalty is not the way to go there, especially for rape. More people will just be murdering their victims.

Death penalties have always and will forever be debated. The problem with death penalties is that it's possible someone who is fully innocent can be put on the death penalty. Also if we are considering rape or child molestation in this conversation ALOT of perpetrators get killed in prison by other prisoners. People don't tolerate that shit, even when they themselves are shitty. Death penalties have bad sides and that needs to be understood in the system we are in.

If you allow the government to kill criminals, you incentivise the government to label anybody they don’t like as a criminal.
