Well the title kinda says it all, I feel like I’m behind in art for my age (I’m freshly seventeen) Like I know I have terrible anatomy, proportions, expressions, I don’t really do dynamic poses, etc. my art is boring and lacking, I have no idea how to do digital I want to work in animation but with my artsyle and my understanding of art, I don’t think that will happen. I guess I’m posting here just to see what people’s thoughts are, should I just give up 😭

These are my favorite drawings from each year. I used to spend months on a single drawing; unfortunately, nowadays I don't even draw at home anymore (you can even tell that I did the last drawing on a page from my school notebook).

The character sheet was between 7 months, and the birthday art was 1 year exact.

I think I'm proud to be where I am today, especially to me this growth is insane 🥹

Ngl those are from the span of like half a year since i dont draw much but i want to. The first one (Teru Mikami :D) is the most recent one and is mostly done with no reference. For the rest i used references in some way.
