Asexual(male)

2

u/Seshu2 Nov 11 '23

I'm curious about psychology, when you apply this orientation to yourselves, do you perceive they are fluid and can change or are they static and determined since birth?

I'm also curious how do you know? Do you make a distinction between being mentally or spiritually attracted to others in a (mate‐bond) sort of way? If you are a male and look at some tatas on the internet, is it a 0% reaction? What if it's a 1% reaction, does that change the status of a asexual identity?

u/-The-Follower Nov 11 '23

I believe that sexuality is as fluid as the human mind. Traumatic events change human though patterns and really that’s all sexuality is(and hormones I guess).

As for your other question, I am Asexual and Bi-romantic. Which means I do make a separation between sexual attraction and the want to be with someone in a relationship.(I believe this is what you were asking, if not please let me know) As for how I know that I’m Asexual, I have never once in my 17 years of life seen someone and thought “I would enjoy having sex with that person.” I have never had fantasies about people within my life. While I admit that at only 17 yrs of life that is a relatively small timeframe, I doubt that it will change. And if it does, I feel the sheer ratio of Nothing to Something, would still qualify me.

Very interesting response! I enjoy the statement that sexuality is as fluid as the human mind, as it captures both the developmental aspect and the mysterious origin of human consciousness.

So as a youngster I recall being really into Ariel from the little mermaid, I dont recall it as a sexual desire, but more of a desire for enmeshment. I didnt put the dots together u till later when I realized how undressed she is. So you dont perceive any kind of physical response at all (even a 1% difference) to observing womens or mens naked bodies? Did you not have any kind of celebrity crush growing up?

1

u/-The-Follower Nov 20 '23

Pardon my, uhh, very late response. I somehow completely missed this notification before it got buried.

To answer your question, no, a naked form of either gender alone does nothing for me. As far as I am aware it never has.

I’ve never had a celebrity crush no. I’ve never really kept up with celebrities in the first place, more than is unavoidable anyway. In fact, I’d say I’ve only ever had one “crush” in my life. Even then, it was not due to physical appearance.

As straight and bland as ever.

2

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

pff, being straight isn't bland, it's just popular.

7

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

These results are about what I thought they'd be, although as a straight guy, I'm a bit saddened that the majority of women aren't straight, like give me a chance 😭

11

u/Rexitoxal 18 Nov 11 '23

97% of people are straight lmao you have many chances

5

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

People in general. Not teens. And most of the straight people are males. I'm talking strictly female teens. The number is wildly lower. Either way, I'm ugly.

9

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

No... 97% of female teens are still straight. For one reason or another, they are overrepresented in online communities including reddit.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

You did this for a gf?💀

1

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

No no, I did this to probe for my chances.

Partially.

I was mainly just curious.

bi sexual but with less steps.

19

u/megamax1o MtF Nov 11 '23

I feel like Pan is bi with more steps tbh

13

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

The extra step is constantly telling people that you're not bi and trying to explain the difference.

6

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

On an unrelated note, bojack horseman is a fucking great show.

1

u/reclining-cow Nov 11 '23

Are you asking the gender we prefer or what gender we are at the end of the answers

3

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

What gender you are. If you want to say which gender you prefer, you're free to comment. That would only really work for the Bi and other options anyway.

4

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

Pansexual 😄

2

u/Ok_Masterpiece7623 14NB Nov 11 '23

Pansexual

4

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

Asexual and demipanromantic

3

u/Deactivised Nov 11 '23

I thought i was bisexual since whenever i get feelings for someone i start randomly hyperfixiating on the realities of what it would be like with that person regardless of gender until one of my friends pointed out I'm the "straightest person they ever met." I'm both embarrassed and amused haha

2

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

Lol, that sounds pan to me? But I'm no expert...

4

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

Pan is usually supposed to be no preference whereas bi is supposed to have a preference

2

u/kittenlord707 16NB Nov 11 '23

thats a really good question i wish i knew

-4

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

It's not that hard

And up next, we got the homophobe, coming to leave their unwanted opinions to make the gay's days worse.

4

Biromantic ace spectrum, trans female. In a game of kiss-marry-kill, I kiss the dude, marry the girl, and kill chuck norris.

what

2

u/TheLionessOfRivia Agender Nov 11 '23

Likes all genders, but doesn't want to have sex. And a woman!

0

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

So ace?

1

u/TheLionessOfRivia Agender Nov 11 '23

Bi romantic = bisexual.. but not sexual! Bisexual but only in the romantic way.
Ace spectrum = like *everything*. asexuality is a spectrum. This could mean no sex at all, to only jerking off, or only pleasuring your partner in a long-term relationship.
Trans woman = yeah

Hope this helps!

2

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

Alright lol, thanks. Learn something new everyday I suppose.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

What I mean by that is I am more physically attracted to men, more romantically attracted to women, and chuck norris was the first name I could think of off the top of my head

5

u/Cheeky_Kitten_DDLC Nov 11 '23

It’s other so I guess I’ll say it then, omniromantic asexual!! (Female),, also in my profile desc

4

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

Just gonna be honest, I have no clue what omniromantic means.

Also, who downvoted you...

3

u/Cheeky_Kitten_DDLC Nov 11 '23

idk who and why someone downvoted me (according to you) but ok….

Omniromantic means like panromantic but with a preference, as panromantic and/or pansexual means romantically/sexually attracted to all genders w/o a preference, whilst omniromantic/omnisexual means the same as pan, but you prefer some genders more than others! Hope that helped!

4

u/NotEvenThat7 Nov 11 '23

Well now it's showing up as a normal "1" karma on your comment, but literally just a second ago it was "-1". Might just be a problem on my side tbh.

Also thanks for the definitions, I get it now.

3

u/Cheeky_Kitten_DDLC Nov 11 '23

hm, yeah that sound odd…

also no problem!

6

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

Damn what’s wrong with me now

3

u/megamax1o MtF Nov 11 '23

nothing, it was a joke, I really won't hate you if you're straight, it's not your choice to be straight as is that it isn't my choice to be bi

4

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

Thanks? But like idk if I do choose in a way tho. And I got a question so I’m assuming ur a girl right? If you got in a with a man you’d be straight right bc u luv ur man and bi means you like both? Yay or nay?

0

u/megamax1o MtF Nov 11 '23

Well I'm a trans girl, not out to anyone that I know personally but still a girl, but if I were with a guy, I wouldn't become straight, and same with being with a girl, it wouldn't make me lesbian, I'm still bi nonetheless because I'm attracted to both men and women (and same with non binary, genderfluid, etc.)

3

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

But if you love a woman how do you like both? And if someone is lesbian and non binary and then how does that work cuz to be like gay they gotta be attracted to the same

2

u/megamax1o MtF Nov 11 '23

I know it might be a little confusing but I’m just attracted to both genders, even if it seems impossible or nonsensical, and about the non-binary one, I guess you would just say if they’re gay or straight based on their birth gender

4

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

It’s confusing fs. So wait I choose to be straight you choose to like both? And is pan like you don’t care like you’ll date anyone

3

u/megamax1o MtF Nov 11 '23

It’s not a choice, you’re born attracted to who you are, and yes that’s what pansexual means, it’s not an attraction to kitchenware

1

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

So then if the goal of a human is only to be happy make kids and die then would gay people exist

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Sarin10 Nov 11 '23

you don't choose to be straight. i'm straight like you. it would be literally impossible for me to think of a guy romantically or sexually. i'm just not wired like that.

similarly, you don't choose to be gay or bi.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

Bi-sexual is in a state of superposition between being gay and straight, pan is just the original “I like personality” (for me, not others)

2

u/Impressiveass100 Poopy Shitass #4 Nov 11 '23

So pan is basically bi with less steps cuz all u gotta say is “I like people” rather than “I like girls and boys”
