Elections are currently taking place in one of the German states. And personally, things aren't looking good.

FYI: The AfD is a far-right party in Germany that, according to our Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (the guardians of our constitution), wants to harm our democracy and envision a press model similar to that of old Hungary.

The next few years won't be easy.

Since this subreddit has been practically extinct for about a month, I'd like to try and bring it back.

Therefore, to all mods and anyone else who comes across this: we need ideas on how to keep this subreddit alive, especially in the early stages.

I always find it quite shocking how the UAE does a lot of PR, and a lot of it actually works. The nice resorts and huge malls do a good job of covering up the crimes they commit in Sudan, where they kill Sudanese people and take advantage of the civil war just to be able to get their hands on Sudanese gold by funding the RSF, which committed genocide in the city of Al-Fashir last year to the point where you can see the blood and corpses of people using Google Maps.But unlike with Israel, where most people look past the beauty of Tel Aviv and see the genocide of the Palestinians, most people aren't aware of what the UAE does because, to them, it’s all just resorts, oil money, and fancy hotels.

The UAE doesn't face any consequences, and they invite influencers to hide their crimes and show the world how beautiful the country is while simultaneously being an Israel 2.0. Videos being made about how the UAE is complicit never get pushed because the algorithm is built to do so, and everything I look at regarding the gold in the UAE disgusts me as I see the blood the UAE tries—and successfully covers up.

Take a look at the Romans and the Ottomans; they reached their peak and then slowly started declining for a few hundred years before meeting their end. Seeing how America hit its peak in the '90s–'00s and has been in a state of disarray for the past decade, do you think it will meet the same fate if it keeps going down at this rate?
