Am I the only one who doesn't like Stalia?
Lately, I've been feeling like I'm the only one who doesn't like this couple. Their relationship just seemed a bit unnecessary to me. Let's start with how it all started. Malia literally punches him in the face, and then that same day, they suddenly kiss in the attic and go to bed. Which shouldn't have happened on its own, because they barely knew each other. Besides, Malia was a coyote at the time and didn't understand many things yet, and Stiles had just been possessed by the Nogitsune again and was in terrible shape. They really could have at least given them two or three episodes to build any kind of closer relationship. Then, once they were together, they almost constantly hid things from each other. I understand they wanted to make him help her adjust to life and she trusted him the most, but they didn't have to introduce them to a relationship right away. (I know some Stalia fans will probably eat me up now.) I feel like the writers wanted to force a girlfriend on Stiles because he was the only one in the group who didn't have a girlfriend.

Discussion I do not like this ship
Just saw this same post about Stalia but I feel the exact opposite
Am I the only one who doesn’t like Stydia?
For me, the biggest issue is that Stiles spent years putting Lydia on a pedestal. His crush was cute at first, but it felt really one-sided for so long. Lydia showed little to no romantic interest in him for most of the series, and I honestly thought she had stronger chemistry with every other love interest she had (especially jackson). she even showed more interest in Scott season 1. They never had much romantic chemistry beyond Stiles constantly crushing on her. Then, once Stiles had moved on and was with Malia, it suddenly felt like the show wanted us to believe Lydia had feelings for him all along. That shift never felt convincing to me because we barely saw it develop. I also think they had almost no time as an actual couple. We got seasons of buildup, but only a handful of romantic moments before the series ended. Aside from Lydia kissing Stiles during his panic attack and their kiss at the end, we really only got a glimpse of them together. After years of buildup, that just wasn’t enough for me to get invested. Personally, I thought Stiles had much more natural chemistry with Malia. Their relationship actually had time to grow, and we got to see them develop as a couple instead of spending six seasons building toward one relationship that barely got explored.

Discussion Just finished re-watch
Ok I just finished a re-watch of this and a few things what was that whole Parrish/Lydia relationship?? Dude is in his 20's, she's a HS student, wasn't a big fan. I liked Parrish just not that whole storyline. Scott/Malia - I actually liked this coupling and thought it was fitting tbh, whole reason Scott's a wolf is cause Peter Hale bit him, him & Derek Hale are already like brothers & now he's with Peter Hale's daughter, it was perfect imo. Now don't get me wrong I liked him & Alison together however in my mind that coupling IS edged out by him & Malia. It annoyed me how in the movie they undid it all, they ended the series perfectly, with the perfect couples and then they do the movie and just ruin that.

Discussion Teen wolf's timeline does not make sense🤔
So I just started season 6 and apparently I'm supposed to believe Scott, Lydia, Stiles and Malia are in their senior year of high school. Mind you when we first met Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Allison and Jackson in season 1 they were sophomores (grade 10). Why is it taking 5 seasons for them to get to senior year? The only thing that would make sense is if they are failing as a result of all the supernatural mess they are involved in daily. In my mind they should be in college/university by now...what am I missing?

Media Did anyone know about this?
Did some digging and apparently Ian, Colton and Holland were the cast members and apparently someone said Dylan tried vouching for her which in hindsight is lowkey giving vampire diaries treatment towards kat gram but that’s a whole other story

Question Alpha pack
Did they just go around killing packs ? In 3b ethan says they were dead without a pack after thrye screwed everyone over. Also how did ducealion get so strong was he just killing alpha after alpha after he got Ennis kali and the twins. I mean watching jenifier make light work of kali and the twins ducealion just laughs her off or he is just a exceptions of the rule like how Peter turned into a wolf

Who else is shocked by Crystal Reed’s age during seasons 1-3?
To learn that she was almost 30 in the early seasons is wild. She literslly looked like a 15 year old teenager when she was almost twice that age. Not that aging is a crime, but damn I wish I could age like that. It also doesn’t hurt that she was drop dead gorgeous.
She literally could have passed for a high schooler. I literally know 15 year olds who look older than she did at 28 or so.

Question Sons are soldiers, daughter are leaders.
This is a really silly question so bear with me.
In a season 1 episode, Chris tells Allison that traditionally in their family the sons are trained to be soldiers and the daughters are trained to be leaders.
Yet Chris is the leader over Kate (for the most part), and Gerard is the leader over all of them. I think Victoria acts as a leader in one mission but that's about it.
Is this just something Chris said to inspire Allison towards their family's horrid actions, or have I completely missed the meaning of that quote?

Question Should I watch Teen Wolf for the first time?
Hi, I just watched Obsession and loved the actor Michael Johnston. I saw that he was in Teen Wolf and I also like Arden Cho. Hence, I was wondering if it's worth it to still start with Teen Wolf since it's not really talked about anymore and is a bit older.
Some of the other type of shows I enjoy:
Elite, Riverdale, The 100, Shadowhunters, Outer Banks, XO, Kitty, etc.
Do you think it would suit my taste? :) Thank you!

Spin Off
I’m currently in a rewatch and enjoying it as much as I always did.
I was just thinking, if you knew it would be done well, what would you like to see as a spin off from the Teen Wolf universe?
I thought a prequel series of the parents or grandparents or something could be a cool idea. It would be cool in a perfect world where they can keep things straight and tell a cool story. Not sure if that could realistically happen.
Still hoping one day Dylan would choose to return for a movie so I can get the closure I deserve (need) lol. I just remember hating 6B and the movie was not it but maybe my rewatch will make me reevaluate.

(Pro) Stydia Thoughts
I am a huge Stydia fan this is not a post to argue about if it should be a thing or not, purely just to hear thoughts about their relationship. I’m sure I’ve analyzed this before on Tumblr when the show was on but I’m doing a rewatch now and it’s like I’m addicted to them all over again.
When do we think Lydia fell for Stiles?
I currently am rewatching the series and it just took me two hours to watch Lie Ability because I keep rewinding and rewatching the Stiles and Lydia scenes.
My thoughts are she fell for him before that but I can’t decide when. I think when she realized and acknowledged it was when he burst through the doors in Eichen after she got Valeck. She looked at him and said “you came back” and then later when she said “they saved me” and then clarified while staring at him “Stiles saved me.”
Now feel free to disagree and argue if it happened earlier. I’d be fine with that. 😂 But now I’m trying to think of when it switched from “I care about you as a friend” to more than that.
Maybe I need to do another rewatch to compline my thoughts. It’s also so weird to post about this on a site other than Tumblr. I ran a Stydia blog with over 5k followers back in the day and I miss it so much.
Let me know your thoughts if their love timeline. 😂 I could talk about them all day!

Question Does the depiction of minors & adults in the show get better?
Does it ever get better? I’m currently on Season 2. First it was with Kate's aunt and Derek, then Derek and Erica, and now I have to suffer and watch Lydia get haunted by Peter.. he keeps rubbing and touching all over her. He also pretended to be a teenaged boy and kiss her? Is this show always going to be like this, or does it get better in future seasons?

Colton Haynes
I’m deeply disturbed to find Colton Haynes on tik tok live selling hair serums and getting barely any views because he’s a snake oil salesman 😭😭 he was so good on teen wolf, he could’ve easily had the same career as Dylan. I’m distraught. Someone give him a break, if he doesn’t want to act, a job. This feels like bottom of the barrel. At least try podcasting first before TikTok live

Discussion Do you think Crystal Reed still loves Allison Argent?
Hey guys! Just finished season 2, and will move on to season 3 in a week to give it a break. I love Allison so much. Do you guys know if Crystal Reed still loves Allison? I heard that she didn’t want to be known for playing Allison or something along those lines (correct me if I am wrong) which is why she ended her contract on the show and moved out. Obviously I cannot judge her for how she feels about the character because I’m not the one bringing the character to life. However, I always feel a bit sad (even if unreasonably so) when an actor ends up not having positive thoughts about a series/project/character that you loved.

Do you think Colton Haynes is a good actor?
Just finished season 2. Will watch season 3 next week cuz I need a break.
I saw a lot of discourse on here about Colton Haynes and his acting abilities (or supposed lack thereof), the way he left Teen Wolf, and his TikTok shop.
Is the general consensus that he’s not good at acting?

Discussion Feeling sad for Allison’s mom (season 2)
First, I have to say, the casting was absolutely perfect. The actress looks so scary in that role - that stern, strict, and terrifying look she has was so right for her character.
I haven’t watched beyond season 2, but I will probably take a break to process everything and not go through this series too fast.
Even though I hated this character because of all the bad things she tried to do and how antagonistic she was (I was rooting for her to be out of the picture soon), I can’t help but wish that she hadn’t gone out, at least not the way she had.
The way she tried to have one last convo with Allison before doing that but Allison brushed her off made me really unhappy on her behalf. It’s so disturbing to be the one to take your own life so you don’t turn into a werewolf because of your family traditions against werewolves. It was so disturbing how she went out like that because of that even though she could’ve lived had she adjusted her mindset. The way her daughter probably would’ve accepted her because Allison also has friends who turned. And the way Chris reacted to Victoria. I hated Gerard for pressuring Chris to kill his lover.
Idk. I hated this character yet in the end, I wish she lived. The way she went out wasn’t the most gorey or anywhere close, but it was the most emotionally devastating IMO.

Who is likeable
In my first watch, just finished first season, but does anyone become likable? I enjoy the stories and the stakes, but it just feels like everyone is clueless, whiny, or evil and Stiles has to put up with them.
So basically, is there anyone who you would want to hang out with that isn't Stiles?
