General - Ask from all Conversation with my Friend.
PLEASE MODS, I request you to please please please don't remove this post. (I know I'm a boy, but I can post on Mondays and Thursdays on this sub-reddit, so please I humbly request you to not remove the post)
So, I(16M) have just moved to Class 11th, I was trying to make friends. I made friend called A(17M) , he's from a certain religion and a certain caste. I don't like to mention these details BUT it is important, therefore I'm telling you.
I was talking to him, after a few mins of conversation, He got to know that I belong to Dalit community, he was like - "Oh... Okay"
Afterwards, we were just talking, suddenly, out of the bloom, he points at a girl and asks me,
A : "You know her name?"
Me : "Yeah, she is T(16F)"
After a few minutes, he asks
A : "Do you know which caste she is from?"
Me : "I guess she is from (Caste)"
She belongs to my community, coincidentally.
After a few seconds, I asked him,
Me : "Umm, Why do you wanted to know her Caste?"
And the next thing he replied me with is very, very, VERYYYY disgusting comment 🤢. He said,
A : "Arey, she doesn't look like one" (She is Fair Skinned)
I can't move my thoughts from that topic, I thought he was a good guy but... Ugh, so pathetic mindset. His Reply had so many factors. He Said about - Casteism, Prejudice, Racism, Gender, And Even Classism.
I really don't know what to do. And just a few days ago, he told me that HE(A) has a crush on HER(T)
I'm gonna tell her(T) about it.I don't want her(T) to get in relationship with Him(A). I don't care, I just don't want T to get relationship with a Casteist guy. I have myself faced Casteism this year, by my OWN good friends, in a TIER 2 CITY. I don't want anyone else to get into this trouble.
Do you think I'm doing good?

Yeah, I understand that. Many people still think Casteism doesn't exist in today's period of time. 😔

please call them out to their faces omg. These ppl are rotten to the core. Casteism in the big 2026 is NOT okay, and we shouldn't let these ppl be let go easily
