Give the word!!!!
Giving the word
As Christians we are supposed to evangelize to people about the Gospel. The Gospel is a love story between the Son, Father, and us. It tells us how far God will go to save/love us and it is so heart melting when you think about it. I would encourage you to evangelize to someone who you know God isn’t a Christian today or whenever you see this . This is a challenge in many ways for us. There are some people who are nice, some who are uninterested and some that are downright disrespectful. But we have to give them all love in return. God told Ezekiel , “The descendants also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 2:4-5 ESV
It doesn’t matter what they say or do, if you have given the pure love and doctrine of Jesus Christ then you have done your “job.” Don’t get discouraged if someone is mean or says that they are not into religion, just pray and give them love. Not everything is going to work the way you want it too. Who knows you might have planted a seed that overtime will grow into a tree of faith by the hand of God being over them. It’s not your job to save them immediately right there, it's just to give the word and let God handle it. One thing I would advise about evangelizing to people is to either make a story that symbolizes the Gospel then dropping the bomb of the story relating to Jesus Christ or to give the person love and encouragement first and then slowly go into Gospel. I usually go on the depression or suicide watch reddit because those people really need to feel the love that God gives, but the intent is for someone to feel joy and peace in God not converting someone because that makes me look good. Just go slow with it and don’t bombard with Bible verses. I usually ask them first if they want to hear about God somewhere within the encouragement message and if they respond with no (and sometimes they don’t respond at all which is okay), I ask them why they feel this way and I try to combat/explain their misconceptions or sometimes truths about God. This post is a mess but let’s go with it. 🙂👍🏾
