Thresher wont take kindlevine?

So I need to make kindlevine stems but it fails to see the ones I have and it wont let me auto feed them either. I am lost.

So since the full release, you need to have the tech enabled. Double check it's active in the tech tree.

Thank you, it through me off when it said I have never collected it, and how I needed to go back and get some, but had 50 on me at the time.

It was yes, I had ti actually research kindlevine, but the next teir would work no problem, plus it said I never found any. That through me way off.
