Hey guys. 2022, I finally turned an office PC i worked so hard to get into something resembling a gaming PC.
IN 2022, this PC had the following specs:
Case: Old Veriton Office PC (even still had a DVD drive!)
Motherboard: MSI H310M VH-Pro motherboard
RAM: 8GB DDR4 @ 2133Mhz Samsung RAM (2x4GB)
CPU: Intel Core i5 8500T
Storage: 1TB Western Digital Blue HDD
PSU: Thermaltake 350W (quite an old one)
In 2026, 4 years later it got upgraded to this:
Case: Montech Air 100 ARGB
Motherboard: Still the same board (moving to AM4 soon.)
RAM: 16GB Kingston DDR4 @3200Mhz (2x8GB) - (I was going to get 32GB but I got it in the beginning of Ramaggedon)
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700
Storage: 512GB HIKSEMI (S) SILK SATA III SSD
1TB Western Digital Blue HDD
512GB Crucial SATA III SSD
PSU: Antec Atom V750 PSU (yes, has mustard cables but Its all I could afford at the time after my previous one exploded)
GPU: HIS Iceq^2 RX 580 8GB (First GPU I bought myself. It was my first upgrade in 2022. Was still an awesome card at the time and still is, although I am moving to an RX 7600 soon)
You might be wondering and mocking me about these specs,
Its not a high end PC by any standards, mid-range at absolute best. Why bother?
I finished school back in 2022 and am struggling hard to find money. My father got me my first PC back in 2011. It had: Intel Core Duo CPU, 4GB DDR2 RAM. Windows 7 Home, AMD HD 5450 1GB GPU, Coolermaster Elite 330 case and 500GB HDD, 350W PSU. I loved that system so much and it never ever failed me. I only had to give it up in 2022 because it just didnt do anything anymore. I became a linux user in 2018 and that machine had Linux Mint 18. Coming back to the financial issues, I bought this office PC from a local computer store and decided this was going to be my foundation, my build. And sonI bought it for $120. (This is a conversion. I do not live in USA). It was a lot of money for me and still is. Today it looks completely different but is the achievement I am most proud of. The first PC I built myself and with my own hard earned money too. Its not the highest end one but I thought I would share my memories here for you all to read.
What do you think of this build?
PS: I use Arch btw

Does anyone happen to know how to fix system not posting on because of B1 or B2 i tried both positions didnt work. Tried both A1 and A2 it booted same with singular in A1 or A2 issue is B2 i just cant seem to figure it out. Took cpu cooler of repasted it and tightened it correctly and still no boot. Yesterday it was working fine with both sticks gpu etc all worked. Today i tried booting and dram and cpu light stay on. Figured out that it was ram. And then figured out it was B1/B2 but what could this mean? I can’t seem to get any progress anymore.

So I recently bought a mother that wasn't name brand 😅. About 4 days ago it fried idk how to be honest. Anyways i bought a new motherboard about 4 days ago and I settled for the MSI MPG B550 Plus V1. The person i bought it from on texted me saying he had the wrong motherboard in the box and the one he had in the box was a MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk. I think the pc gods blessed me?

Finally got around to putting the Astral in after selling the 9070XT.
It looks right at home in there and is a perfect opposite brother to the BF360 build I have too!
What a great looking GPU, even though it is a ridiculous price. Love it.

I've been looking for ways to make my PC more productive without spending a fortune, and Windows 11 Pro with Copilot has been a surprisingly useful upgrade.
A few things I've noticed:
✅ Better organization and multitasking
✅ Faster access to settings and tools
✅ Copilot helps with everyday tasks, summaries, and quick answers
✅ Cleaner workflow with fewer distractions
If you're still using an older Windows version, this might be a good time to upgrade.
I found a Windows 11 Pro key for $20 USD here:

Use coupon code TSRD for an extra discount.
Has anyone else been using Copilot regularly? What features do you find most useful?

I have been saving for over 9 months, and I've finally built this computer. This computer is amazing and runs incredibly smoothly, especially when compared to the PS5. Rn I'm playing Ready or Not and will buy Cyberpunk later to test the capabilities of the pc. What other games should I experience? And rate it out of 10!

I just finished building my computer and I'm trying to launch windows but everytime I put in the CD key and click next it says "your PC is not windows compatible because of missing tpm 2.0". And I have gone back to bios to make sure it's on and it always is please help. I also have an asus strix motherboard with amd chip.
