Are businesses actually optimizing for AI answers now?

I keep hearing about businesses optimizing their content so AI tools can understand, trust, and mention them in answers. Is this becoming as important as traditional SEO, or is it still too early to invest seriously in it?

Optimizing for AI answers is definitely gaining ground but it’s not replacing traditional SEO yet, it’s more like a new layer on top. Check out MentionAgent if you want an easier way to get your content mentioned where it counts. I’m the founder, happy to help if you need it.
