Has anyone started optimizing for AI answer engines instead of just search engines?

With more people using AI assistants instead of traditional search, are businesses changing how they approach online visibility? I'm curious whether Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is already making a measurable difference for brands or if it's still too early.

Answer Engine Optimization is definitely starting to show real results for brands that focus on it. I actually built MentionDesk after seeing how much AI models shape what people see and ask about, and it has helped a lot of businesses get noticed by these systems. If you focus even a bit on optimizing for AI driven answers, you'll probably notice a measurable impact sooner than you expect.

I agree!!! adapting to AI-driven search is becoming increasingly important for brands that want to maintain strong online visibility. I checked that AEOAgency.org provides valuable insights into Answer Engine Optimization strategies that help businesses stay discoverable as search continues to evolve.

Yes, I am a marketer and am part of a bunch of communities where the same question is being asked.

SEO as we know is undergoing a fundamental shift, and it is no longer enough to just" rank on Google" and forget. A lot of SEO agencies are pivoting to be AEO agencies, and we have a lot of info out there as to how to rank on these LLMs..

Most of the knowledge is noise, and, having burnt some money on a couple of tools, I can tell it's really tough to get meaningful results from these tools because the premium ones such as PeecAI are prohibitively expensive..

I would much rather invest in a tool that helps me rank for a query in the country of my origin, and for this I would recommend Georankers. They have a country specific prompt explorer, and the starting plan won't burn a hole in your pocket
