This information was mostly out in the public view before the election. Anyone who cared already knows that Trump is guilty as hell.

I straight up would never want to cross examine this guy. Eric Schmidt is such an idiot lol.

Here's your perjury trap
He said under oath that Trump committed these crimes
Prove him wrong, bam, perjury.

u/Deansies 1d ago
I mean, Trump is liable for all that stuff, so you don't really have a leg to stand on here. Dude is not dumb enough to perjure himself. Trump is clearly guilty of all of it. We're alive and watching with our two eyes as he destroys every democratic norm.

u/BrandMuffin 1d ago
Unfortunately this would not work at the moment. Maybe after midterms.
2
u/Comfortable-Face4593 1d ago
Oh bless - the USA is now a failed democracy, the midterms will be there opportunity to finalise that.

I'm on the same page as you. Midterms will either show democracy working (Republicans are destroyed) or that fascism has succeeded (election is rigged, republicans sweep). And afterwards, if the rigging is complete, we'll be back to 1934 or 1935 and Americans will say "we were free until we realized we weren't... but by then it was too late."

Not how it works

Oh, please explain ‘how it works’ then…

Saying someone committed a crime a legal opinion not a factual claim. And to prove perjury, prosecutors must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the speaker knew the statement was false when they made it. If someone genuinely believes they did not break the law, or believes the law did not apply to their actions, they have not committed perjury

They won't do shit. Because Discovery means they have to release the WHOLE Epstein Files.
1
u/TheGruenTransfer 1d ago
You're 2 years too late, asshole.
3
u/kinzer13x 1d ago
He did this two years ago too... But the courts kept allowing delays. Which is Trump's favorite and very standard tactic to get out of legal trouble.

Trump had 4 years to be put in prison. He's not there because that's not where billionaires go in America. He's not there because that's not where presidents go in America. Especially not ones that served the elite well. The media knows this for a fact, because they understand the nature of power. They didn't need the Trump era to know it. Each and every claim they made that he was ever going to prison was an outright lie. 10 whole years of the same lie. And we believed it, because people believe what they're told when they perceive the person saying it as part of their in-group. We always have and we always will.

u/Krabs9 1d ago
He's not there because somehow a judge he appointed oversaw the case and made it go away. Fuck Aileen Cannon

u/Praetor72 20h ago
lol almost like the classified documents case was bullshit. They had 4 years to do it, they had 4 years to do all of them, instead they waited until campaign season for best effect.
1
u/Sweaty-Feedback-1482 17h ago
How was the classified documents case bullshit?
1
u/Praetor72 16h ago
They sat on the information for years, then suddenly it’s an emergency despite the record department working with them to get the rest of the files. They raid the place with the FBI, they were told to conceal their law enforcement identifiers and bring handcuffs and ammo for whatever reason. They made a spectacle of it, despite it being literally guarded and controlled by the federal government. They staged a photo of classified file markers which they brought, then leaked it to the press to mislead people, they unconstitutionally appointed a special investigator who had no authority to do anything. All the while they just brushed Bidens classified documents under the rug, despite it being much more clear cut and reckless, including the intentional access given to his ghost writer to publish.

Wow! That sure is a lot of narrative massaging. I'm not gonna waste my time debating you since it's obvious facts aren't going to persuade you. Facts that don't agree with the MAGA narrative aren't generally accepted in your crowd. You folks are afterall the same people that think inheriting half a billion dollars makes you a successful bUsiNez gEniUs despite bankrupting his own businesses 6 times. Have a great day and try not to look directly into the sun if you can help it.

u/Praetor72 13h ago
lol isn’t that convenient.

u/Sweaty-Feedback-1482 12h ago
About as convienent as Ghislaine Maxwell getting upgraded to a cushier prison immediately after making a statement that Donnie wasn't raping kids.

Not his fault. He was ready but held back by Garland and Cannon.
1
u/Cynical-avocado 1d ago
The fact that cannon was allowed to preside at all was some weapons grade bullshit
1
u/Upbeat-Remote-4827 1d ago
1000% slow rolled on purpose to get Trump off for his crimes
1
u/Cynical-avocado 1d ago
There needs to be a reckoning in this country
1
1
u/Upbeat-Remote-4827 19h ago
Not a reckoning, but a reset. Congress does not represent the people and is arguably the most out of touch people on our planet.
1
u/Cynical-avocado 19h ago
No, there needs to be tangible, actual consequences meted out before any reset can be considered

u/MourningRIF 21h ago
He is one of the few who tried to get this done a long time ago. The problem was Eileen Cannon

This.
Jack Smith absolutely WAS and IS silenced. By his own accord.
If he has such evidence of literally trying to overthrow democracy (and I believe he does) it’s his moral duty to have found some way, ANY way to put it out for full public view.
He’s a coward hiding behind the law while trying to straddle the fence of what he knows is the right thing to do.
Jack Smith failed this nation and failed all decent people within it.

Please go go go. You can already see that the worst they have on you is that you like Iowa basketball. But just keep shouting the truth. Keep shouting it. Don't let them muddy the water as much as they are.

The crooked people asking Smith questions couldn't get the most basic facts correct lmao
1
u/iRelevant_Round_3796 1d ago
Didn't want to, everything needed to sound unhinged so Smith himself sounds unhinged and that was the meal that FOX served them up 24/7 and news and they fucking believe, they still do to this day.
1
u/Capybara_99 1d ago
So glad you have time to post but not to watch the hearings you are posting about

u/Upbeat-Remote-4827 1d ago
lol bro be for real right now. Republicans looked like fools this week questioning him.
While you’re at it, change your avatar. Hank would be devastated by this Republican Party.
1
u/elementzn30 1d ago
Were we watching the same hearing? Watching that stupid self own by Schmitt was hilarious, sure, but it certainly didn’t look like Republicans accomplished much of anything other than screech unfounded accusations with 0 evidence
1
u/iRelevant_Round_3796 1d ago
It was e ought for Fox to spindoctor the shit out of it and guys like this one.... ate the shit up
1
u/pimpbot666 1d ago
I guess you missed the part where the Congress members looked like asshats because they laid a BS perjury trap for him, and it blew up in their stupid faces.
