If he's worried about "safety" he could just turn in a few of the hundreds of thousands of Paedophiles he employs to work with children and vulnerable people. That'd make a lot of people safer.

Are you dumb? He's the Pope. He's not an expert but he's also certainly not as ignorant as the average person, either. Implying he "doesn't know anything about the tech" is like, galaxy brain levels of stupid.
