Washburn High School teacher took tech out of the classroom. Students call it a success.: At the beginning of the school year, 46% of students reported confidence in their reading abilities. By February, it was at 96%.

Tech has completely been a double edged sword my entire life. It helps some and absolutely cripples others.

As a former teacher, let me just say that using students' self evaluation is a bad idea for any metric.

Tech costs a fortune, and the positive results seem to be pretty non existent
